Registration

You will only need to register with Tri Spirit Events directly if you wish to sign up for our newsletters. If you choose to do this, you will need to give us your email address. The only other time we will ask for your email address is when you register for a training week, coaching or cycle guiding and this information will be held within the Tri Spirit Events Ltd GSuite which is GDPR compliant, and also for newsletter sign ups on Mailchimp as a means of communicating with you about offers, promotions and other items we hope you may be interested in.

Media

If you upload images to the website or to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies and embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, maps, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We will endeavour to keep any information you send to us secure, using appropriate means at our disposal. However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee the security of the information you send to us. There are risks associated with divulging personal information to any website and dealing online, which you agree to accept, and you will not hold us liable for any loss resulting from any breach of our security measures.

How we use your information

We process the data you provide to us as a result of the contract created between us by you signing up for a training week, cycle guiding or coaching, and/or as a result of you giving your consent to us to contact you with information about our other events or offers and services provided by our sponsors or selected third parties.

We will use the information you provide to us – your name and email address – to provide you with information and offers relating to our events and offers from our partners that we think you may be interested in.

You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send to you. We will then no longer send you details or information.

We will not sell, rent, or lease your information to a third party, and any company we work with who share your information – including payment gateway providers, email providers and analytics providers is also GDPR compliant.

We will not share personal information with any third parties without your permission, unless to:

• Respond authorised information requests of government or regulatory authorities
• Comply with law or court orders
• Transfer personal data if company, business assets or website is sold to or acquired (or the majority of the company is acquired) by a third party

External sites

If sites link to Tri Spirit Events that are not under our control, we cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from dealing with these sites.
We also do our best to ensure any sites we link to are reputable and of a standard we are comfortable with, but we cannot be held responsible for the actions of, or your interaction with, any site outside of our control.

Changes to this privacy policy

We will change the details of this privacy policy from time to time, and they will be relevant from the date they are posted.
